When should I see a doctor about ED?

Answer

I would encourage any patient who thinks he might have ED to go and seek advice from his doctor. Whilst he may not necessarily want treatment for his ED it is important that his condition gets assessed, as ED is a marker for cardiovascular disease, that is heart problems, diabetes, lower urinary tract signs, which is problems with your waterworks. These things can be assessed and treated ahead of time. It is unfortunate that in my clinical experience patients very often wait two years or sometimes as long as ten years before they come and see me for treatment.
