How is ED treated?

Answer

Fortunately, these days there are many things that can be done to help the patient. Since the advent of the phosphodiesterase inhibitor tablets, otherwise known as PDE5 inhibitors, this has revolutionised the treatment of ED, and this is what most patients would prefer to use. It is also important they do things to help themselves, and there are other treatments that are possible if the PDE5 inhibitors are contraindicated or don’t work, such as surgery, in the form of implants, injections, pellets that go down the penis, and psychological therapies may be necessary in certain cases but the vast majority of people are helped by the PDE5 inhibitors.
